Evernote: Free Information Storage Application

Written by Angela Yee. Posted in Personal Organization, Web Tools

A wonderful free tool that I have started using to organize information is called Evernote. (I especially love it because it’s free!)

Evernote is a great place to store information, web clippings, reference pictures, etc. You can even take a picture with your computer camera and store it!

Fun, Easy and Powerful To-Do App: Hit List

Written by Angela Yee. Posted in Personal Organization, Web Tools

If you have read any of the other posts I have put on this site, you’ll have discovered that I’m a bit schizophrenic when it comes to task management systems. I’ve jumped from system to system. Part of this is due to life changes, another part due to my need for change, and another one because I love to try different ways to get organized.

So here’s the one that I use now. Not only have I used it for a while, but I totally love it! It’s called Hit List and it’s the best one I’ve used yet. Unfortunately, it is only available for the Mac. But the good news is right now it is free as it is in demo mode!

Yesterday I discovered a very cool site called SpringPad. This site totally helps me organize in the way I think!

I dont know how long ago this was written, or if you will see this comment, but –

Staples has a new system called Arc that is exactly like circa, except it is super cheap! I built a whole notebook for around $20. And the design is super clean and simple, I love it!

I love this idea! I have definitely been thinking about implementing it. Problem is … I have a home/school desk downstairs and a work desk upstairs so sometimes I am running back and forth and can’t find my lists. So I ended up using the computer for to-do’s (not as fun as paper though).
