Cool Tools: Daily System

For visual types (Bower Birds, in the book I’m Not Neat But I’m Organized) who need to have their information and work in front of them, try using a wall system. Putting things on the wall in front of you provides a convenient way to access what you need.

Here’s a nice wall system that allows you to display three calendars at once and includes a charging station, whiteboard, corkboard, letter bin, magnetic chalkboard, and other handy tools to keep your items easily accessible. It’s modular, too, so you can mix and match according to your needs.

I think the charging station is very clever — so far, it’s the only wall-mounted charging system I’ve seen where you can charge your PDA, cell phone, or other electronic accessories while keeping them off your desk.

If you’re budget conscious, consider creating a wall system of your own, with a large bulletin board and wall-mountable small shelves with boxes!
